Albert Tansley
Senior Director, Development
Albert Tansley plays a key role in Fiera Real Estate’s development activities as Senior Director, Development, providing strategic insight and financial expertise across the platform. He brings more than 14 years of experience in real estate finance and development, with a focus on commercial and residential asset classes across Canada. Working closely with regional partners and multidisciplinary teams, Albert supports the advancement and execution of a diverse pipeline of development projects.
Prior to joining Fiera Real Estate, Albert gained extensive experience in development, underwriting, and investment analysis with leading Canadian real estate organizations. His background includes supporting the master-planned development of Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC) at SmartCentres REIT, overseeing development initiatives for urban retail and mixed-use properties at First Capital Realty, and contributing to capital allocation decisions at Canadian Tire Corporation.
Albert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and actively contributes to the profession as a volunteer mentor with CPA Ontario.
